The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Technician will be to support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for electronic implantable medical devices, while being directly in charge of operating and maintaining the metallographic laboratory and specific processes on the production floor.
The Technician is responsible for the day-to-day execution of metallographic sample preparation and analysis and manual manufacturing processes for electronic implantable medical devices. This includes operating sandblasting equipment, polishing machines, and manual grinders, as well as preparing and analyzing samples under the supervision of process development engineers.
The Technician ensures proper execution of assigned tasks, maintains equipment in good working condition, reports findings from sample preparation and process operations, and complies with established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards in coordination with cross-functional teams.
