Vice President Supply Chain

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
• Maintain third-party logistics provider solutions, including integration with in-house systems, capabilities, and needs.
• Optimize operational resources while executing cost reductions and inventory analysis and control.
• Conduct risk assessments on product profitability, supply trends, demand factors, lead times, and production risk mitigation.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party, and possible future in-house manufacturing operations to forecast orders, procurement, and production needs at all levels of the supply chain, meeting business, and customer demands.
• Manage labor costs, personnel productivity, inventory levels, data accuracy, and stocking strategies.
• Establish and adjust work procedures to meet logistics demands, production schedules, established workflows, and standard policies related to quality.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, vendors, and shipping contacts throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Negotiate warehousing, shipping prices, and transportation arrangements with contracted providers.
• Work with IT professionals to implement efficient and effective systems.
• Track KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performance

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or relevant field.
• MBA is preferred.

Required:

• At least 7 years of work experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in the medical device field
• Experience managing supply chain which included electronic components
• Proficient experience at all levels of the supply chain processes (e.g., inventory and demand planning, managing rapidly changing scale of stock, computerized warehouse management, third-party logistics relationships, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization.
• Outstanding organizational and management skills.
