Sr. IT Business Analyst

The Sr. IT Business Analyst will have the chance to be:  Primary liaison between the IT and business areas. Provide direct support to the assigned business areas. Work directly with clients and applies IT, business knowledge, and experience to develop and understand the business case and business requirements to solve technology-related business problems. Convert business-provided requirements into system configuration deliverables that are tested and ultimately deployed for production use.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts, and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures.
• Partners with Corporate service providers to investigate alternatives, which use existing applications.
• Conducts training with peers and business partners.
• Comprehensive understanding of MES system setup, configuration, interface, and system abilities
• Manages initiatives according to milestones and within budget constraints.
• Identifies and implements process improvements.
• Independently conceives and develops general approaches to develop business requirements, business use cases, GAP analysis, Functional requirements, and functional design documentation.
• Determines and develops an approach to identify the root cause of issues. Propose solutions and properly document and follow processes through to resolution.
• Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved.
• Works with minimal management direction.
• No budget responsibility.
• May have indirect team responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline
• 4+ Year Experience with MES software and interfaces
• 4+ Year experience with IT support in a manufacturing environment
• 4+ Year experience in IT systems Business Analyst experience
• Advanced computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ Year Experience with ERP software and Interfaces
• Advanced IT Systems Configuration knowledge
• FTPC MES Software experience (Configuration, Master Data)
• Super user of MES software in a shop floor environment
