Senior System Analyst

The Senior Systems Analyst will have the chance to lead operational support for the Plant IT environment, with responsibility for site applications, infrastructure, customer support, and for site projects, continuous improvements, and manufacturing continuity.  This role will work with multiple IT teams and organizations to deliver services for the site, as well as work with plant production teams to ensure operational stability for the manufacturing IT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and design client area application systems requirements for new or modified applications, in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions.
• Provide system performance optimization, and perform maintenance and production support.
• Refine conceptual system requirements into a technical design consisting of job flows and program specifications.
• Aid in the systems development process, including planning and monitoring systems development efforts, coordinating activities within other groups, reviewing deliverables, and communicating with management.
• Understand customers’ business objectives and system requirements and work closely with customers to determine their strategic information requirements and measure performance against expectations.
• Assist in customer resolution.
• Define implementation activities and assign individual responsibilities; assume a leadership role for implementation activities; coordinate implementation with other parts of the enterprise and provide routine status of activities to Project Mgr. or direct supervisor.
• Develop project plans, and project schedules, and identify resource requirements.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
• Directs the work of technical and programming support resources, and less experienced staff.
• Participates in the technical evaluation of assigned staff and in the identification of development needs.
• Works under general supervision.
• Normally determines technical objectives of assignments. Exercises latitude in approach to problems and solutions.
• Works with plant, divisional and corporate teams as needed to align to and attain business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 7-10+ years of experience in a relevant field of work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Significant working experience in a manufacturing or healthcare IT position
• Proven skills in the operational management of MES/EBR applications
• Experience with QLM and SLC methodologies
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
