Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics and Market Research

General Responsibilities:

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics and Market Research will own and manage claims data resource assets and analytics capabilities including patient, hospital, ASC, and provider claims data, and develop best in class data analysis and utilization programs to optimize the targeting of healthcare providers to support the field team and other groups in identifying qualified surgeon training targets and other HCPs who diagnose and treat Sacroiliac joint patients.  The Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics and Market Research will be the claims data “subject matter expert” and possess an effective mix of hands-on experience with claims data combined with industry knowledge and experience within the interventional pain and ortho/neurosurgeon community.  The Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics and Market Research will utilize their knowledge and expertise to effectively navigate local HCP networks to uncover existing referral pathways among different provider groups and advise on strategies and tactics to effectively educate those networks.

Specific Responsibilities and Skills:

• Work with the sales team and Sales Enablement to drive the utilization of all claims data platforms to maximize the impact of our data resources and help identify qualified targets for new surgeon training, increase engagement with existing trained surgeons to improve adoption and utilization and drive local community education programs with healthcare providers to increase awareness of Sacroiliac joint dysfunction and iFuse as a treatment option for appropriate surgical candidates
• Utilize patient, provider and facility claims data to identify and prioritize additional HCP specialties, such as PCPs, OB/GYNs, etc., to engage and educate on the diagnosis of SIJD and iFuse as a treatment option
• Work with sales leadership and Definitive Healthcare’s management team to ensure a smooth and successful transition from Patient Finder 1.0 to Patient Finder 2.0 platform
• Work with sales and marketing leadership and claims data providers to understand the value and impact of various claims data products, including facility and provider data sets, healthcare provider data sets, etc., to ensure the company has access to mission-critical claims data to help support growth demands
• Identify and analyze claims data vendors to understand the competitive landscape and report on vendor options to ensure the company maximizes cost to value ratio of claims data products necessary to drive the business
• Work with the reimbursement and outpatient market access teams to support our ASC initiatives by utilizing and applying claims data analytics to drive business in the ASC arena where appropriate
• Develop and implement training programs and resources to enable sales team new hires to quickly learn, understand, and utilize the company’s claims data products to accelerate territory growth and development
• Act as the primary point of contact with all claims data vendors and products
• Measure, track, analyze and report program utilization and ROI
• Assist in developing integrated marketing and sales tools including literature, brochures, training materials, and field sales and customer communications to support sales and the customer
• Execute special marketing projects, such as support of marketing research projects, tactical support for key marketing initiatives, and others, as needed
• Participate in planning and execution of sales meetings, training, industry conferences, and tradeshows
• Help develop key initiative presentations for the sales force and key customers
• Assist in the development of presentations to senior management
• Support the Quality System

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Business, Management, or Marketing Communications.
• 9+ years’ relevant experience utilizing data and data analytics in a sales/marketing role.
• Deep understanding of healthcare claims data acquisition and analysis.
• Experience in working with a CRM platform and utilizing data to inform strategies and tactics.
• Experience in selling and marketing to healthcare providers utilizing data to drive adoption.
