Regional Field Service Manager

The Regional Field Service Manager will lead and manage a team of field service engineers, as well as perform routine travel within the region. Will routinely interface with senior management, customers, and peers to manage workload.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and effective delivery of customer site service in the given region for life science and clinical diagnostic products. 
• Ensures compliance with company and regulatory policies. 
• Accountable for expenses against budget.  
• Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. 
• Responsible for in-field resource utilization. 
• Works with partners in Technical Support and Support Operations to plan and implement product training. 
• Evaluates performance, writes reviews, and provides feedback to direct reports on an ongoing basis. 
• Active in recruiting and retaining talent. 
• Acts as a customer advocate in resolving field support-related issues. 
• Frequent travel required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of field service management and/or technical leadership experience in the Diagnostics or Scientific Products business. 
• Must have a proven track record in providing a high level of on-site customer service and managing a budget (P&L). 
• Strong management and leadership skills. 
• Good customer relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to evaluate and recruit talent and coach/mentor direct reports.
