Project Engineer

We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented project engineer to join our team. This person is highly trained in engineering and has a track record of success in project or program management. This person must be an outstanding communicator, exceptional leader, and even better strategist. The project engineer will be responsible for maintaining our standards of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to quality. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximize project efficiency and profitability.
• Manages projects from start to finish.
• Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
• Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate production personnel
• Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited civil engineering or related program,
• 6 years of progressive experience.
• 5 Years experience in United States based projects
• PE License Preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of and the ability to apply jurisdictional requirements in preparation of Grading & Drainage, Paving, Water, Sewer & Storm Water Management Plans.
• PE registration in TX
• Experience in cost estimating, earthwork volume calculations using surface modeling, soil erosion, and sedimentation control methods, and preparation of drainage, water, and sewer reports with related calculations.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD with an emphasis on Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Technical Report Writing
