Manager, Quality Procedures and Training

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Quality Procedures and Training will be responsible for the development, administration, and maintenance of the training and learning management systems globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

• Implement short and long-term strategies for effectively managing and maintaining training and learning management systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to develop training and documentation program deliverables
• Proactively address business and stakeholder’s needs through analyzing their operational needs and constraints and working with the technical team to develop effective methodologies, solutions, and enhancements.
• Develop BI dashboards to measure and monitor the health of quality procedures and training program effectiveness, and actions for adherence to quality
• Use data to identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest potential opportunities for gaps and improvements
• Ensure all training activities and materials are in accordance with federal, state, and local laws including regulatory agencies and Company standards
• Create, write, edit, and revise Company’s Standard Operating Procedures, technical user documents including policies, procedures, training manuals, forms, proficiency exams, and training aides by working with applicable subject matter experts
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise Quality Procedures and Training Specialists globally

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Knowledge of GMPs, FDA regulations, and documentation procedures
• Experience in implementing and managing learning management systems
• Exceptional written skills, particularly in technical writing (training materials, SOPs, and operational documentation)
• Solid communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in easy-to-understand ways.
• Strong ability to foster relationships and work cross-functionally, especially with global teams in different time-zones
• Strong attention to detail, highly self-driven and results-oriented
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a GMP environment in food, nutraceutical, pharma, and/or similar regulated environment
• Experience using data analysis computer tools and statistical analysis
• Previous experience in a GMP/GLP environment

Education:

• BS or BA degree in a scientific related field
