IT Sr. Technical Analyst

Provides in-depth technical expertise and direction in the development and support of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes (e.g., new, enhancements or maintenance), in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost-effective application solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Serve as an SAP SCM configuration expert to develop, test, and implement significant new solutions, or operational improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit.
• Conduct investigation activity/research and give technical advice on the adoption or integration of new technologies and their business impact on SCM-related items.
• Lead in the development of standards and procedures and publish/communicate findings via IOIs, presentations, white papers, etc.
• Review, validate and enhance the design, conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning; install, test, and upgrade releases and associated products.
• Evaluate SAP notes, new functionality, and upcoming releases in SCM-related modules.
• Configure applicable module(s) to design an optimal solution.
• Accountable for total project scope, budget, completion within budget constraints, and scheduled completion date.
• Accountable for successful and timely completion of all tasks/projects under direct and matrix control.
• Post-completion audit of the project after implementation to verify expected benefits vs. costs, both development and operating.
• Project success is critical to the continued business success of the corporation.

Education and Experience:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in the full life cycle of SAP (ECC) projects
• 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing (PP-PI) and Planning module design, configuration, and testing, including:
• Manufacturing (PP-PI):  Process Orders, Master data, and Integration to related Processes
• Planning methods and deep knowledge of various strategies
• Capacity management and planning board functionality
• Sound knowledge of interface mapping with legacy/3rd party applications (MES)
• Handling and Storage Unit Management

Preferred

• SCM Business Process experience/knowledge
• Knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse Management
