Head of Product

Job Summary: 

The Head of Product will be the key steward of delighting customers through the product. This critical role leads the Company’s Product Innovation, Design, and Management, from ideation to specification and ownership within the Agile Development Process. This role is a key stakeholder in the Strategic Planning Process and will work closely with Company Leadership. 

Responsibilities:

• Drive customer’s delight through product innovation, design, and execution across all product touchpoints (hardware, apps, services, ecosystem integrations, cloud) 
• Lead and develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer journey insights, and technological opportunities for the biosensor technology platform; investigate, recommend, and implement new product introductions or product upgrades/changes into the product portfolio 

• Own and drive the global product/country launch pipeline; communicate progress and opportunities/risks to  Leadership; lead the product inputs to the Strategic Planning Process 
• Lead the global product claim development and cross-functional process to substantiate the claims; provide recommendations on clinical studies to achieve necessary proof, and collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Access, Sales, and Clinical/Medical to amplify these claims  

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Commercial, R&D, Clinical and Regulatory functions to maximize the impact of the global launch pipeline  
• Build and lead a team of Product Owners in the Agile Software Development Process 

• Manage the Product Budget within the Commercial P&L 

Experience & Education:

• Proven track record of delighting customers through consumer or direct to patient tech products  
• Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience (people, budgets) 

• Curiosity, energy, and perseverance to continuously uncover, socialize and implement delightful new product ideas with an extensive group of stakeholders 
• Experience leading and/or working closely with product management, UX design, and UX research utilizing Agile Processes 
• 10 years of relevant business experience 
• Advanced degree
