Global Trade Compliance Supervisor

Job Summary:

This highly motivated, detail-oriented and data-driven individual will be part of the Global Trade Compliance Team and will be responsible for the daily management of the Company’s global trade compliance program. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Americas Global Trade Compliance Specialist. This role reports to the Global Trade Compliance Manager.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the America’s portion of the imports /exports program to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Liaison with local Customs officials as needed to facilitate the movement of goods
• Manage the daily import/export activity for Americas
• Manage the global Company product dictionary to include HTS, ADD/CVD, ECCN, materials, etc.
• Prepare internal monthly Customs reports
• Analyze and manage the daily exceptions to define root cause and corrective actions
• Review and publish the America’s vendor shipping instructions and customs broker SOP
• Manage the export program to include, export licenses, diversion risk, and export declarations
• Participate and support projects as necessary.
• Prepare and file any post entry corrections with applicable Customs offices
• Review any new Antidumping Duty and Countervailing Duty Cases (ADD/CVD) and determine if goods are covered and maintain all information in Trade flow and master data spreadsheet of results

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of European Customs import and export laws and regulations
• Knowledge of European anti-dumping duties, laws and regulations
• Experience with Free Trade Agreements including USMCA, GSP
• Ability to interface with all internal departments
• Capability to represent the company with regards to all import / export related government agencies and outside consultants when required
• Ability to coordinate and deliver project goals and objectives within a defined time period
• in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to be proactive in recognizing and adjusting to shifting priorities.
• Self-motivated and directed, capable of operating semi-autonomously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• P.C. experience and skills, specifically EXCEL, WORD, and Outlook
• BA/BS with 4 to 5 years related import/export operational and compliance experience
• Proficient in English and additional languages (Spanish, etc.) a plus
