Closely align and interface with operations teams, trade compliance peers, and other business partners to obtain the necessary technical characteristics and data that will allow all classification work to be done in timely manner to tie into important product launches. Proper classification will include (when required) the need to apply for the formal CCATS rulings or export licenses from the government agencies, as well as providing information to allow import authorizations for many countries around the globe. In addition, you will be expected to participate and contribute to the many other facets of responsibilities, processes, and procedures which the export compliance department manages across the company.
