Director, Legal Counsel – M&A/Corporate Finance

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience working within law practice – M&A/Corporate Finance
• Experience working in a leading firm in a large market.
• A Lawyer who is interested in providing legal advice, not just legal analysis.
• Applicants should be familiar with the application of federal securities laws to M&A transactions and with local jurisprudence relating to directors’ responsibilities in the M&A area.
• A strong work ethic and comfort working and interacting with large deal teams on complex transactions is required.
• Associates at this level are expected to be prepared to devote substantial time to continuing to develop their transactional M&A skills and expertise and to train junior M&A associates.
• A strong desire and ability to integrate into a collegial team environment is critical.
• Candidates for lawyer opportunities in the U.S. must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Bar in the United States
