Developer, Sr. Specialist – SAP

The Opportunity:

As the Developer, Sr. Specialist – SAP, you’ll have the chance to work on the detailed evaluation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of small and large information systems supporting the efficient operation of ecosystems and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates and oversees software design specifications that meet all business requirements, utilizing the appropriate notations and templates.
• Participates and/or facilitates the requirement specification process for new software functionality to ensure that definitions of new functionality are clearly defined, fully understood, and deliverable.
• Collaborates with business analysts to determine appropriate software capabilities, functionality, and design options.
• Participates in the creation of testing plans and in the execution of test cases.
• May develop the testing and validation of new software or enhancements to ensure software changes meet functional requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide assessments, presentations, and recommendations on overall fit into the environment and strategy.
• Participate in developing and maintaining the roadmap for technology tools and environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in application development and support with a background in application integration and database application development.
• 6+ years of development on the SAP platform
• 4+ years of experience developing within SAP ECC, CRM, GTS, SCM, and S4 HANA ERP.
• 4+ years of experience developing SAP Middleware Applications – PO, CPI, and IS
• Participation in at least three full SAP implementation
• Experience with multiple modules of the ECC application, such as SD, MM, FI, QM, etc.
• Expert working knowledge of SAP integrations tools of PO / CPI, such as Graphical Mapping, Groovy Script, ABAP Mapping, SLD/IR/ID configuration, BPM, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, Workflow, Web Services, etc.
• Solid working knowledge of the SAP Development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, Classic Dynpro, WebDynpro for JAVA/ABAP, BSP, Data Dictionary, ALV, ALE, EDI, IDOCs, Workflow, Object Oriented ABAP, Function modules (RFC), Smart forms, SAP Script, BDC/Call Transaction, User Exits, Logical Database, etc.
• Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model is preferred.
• Four-year degree in a technical field such as computer science, management information systems, or engineering or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CRM, GTS, SCM, and APO applications, is preferred.
• JAVA, UI5 development experience, preferred.
