JOB SUMMARY:

The Consultant must be a professional with a sound understanding of complex data analysis and other technology-related solutions within the context of litigation, fraud, investigations, and other investigative matters.

A successful candidate will hold a college degree and possess experience or aptitude in various aspects of technology consulting and data analysis, including but not limited to the collection and synthesis of data, project management, spreadsheet and database creation, and SQL programming. Candidate should possess skills in designing and executing solutions to complex problems, as well as analyzing complex data sets from relevant financial, transactional, survey, and other data systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing the day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with client personnel, internal team members, and professionals from other firms involved in the engagement.
• Identifying and extracting data from a variety of sources including databases, financial systems, and open source
• Organizing information to facilitate effective data access and analysis.
• Ingesting, data wrangling, data cleaning, and exporting data from database systems.
• Developing custom dashboards, exhibits, and presentations for clients and third parties on the project scope and/or results of activities
• Applying accounting, financial, and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines
• Designing and implementing complex database models to resolve disputes.
• Utilizing forensic and data mining tools to search, recover, sort, and organize large amounts of electronic information in all phases of an investigation or litigation issue.
• Creating and maintaining detailed work-paper records of assumptions, methodologies, and information sources employed during the performance of all analytical tasks.
• Delivering a quality product within established timeframes
• Preparing drafts of written analyses and reports for third parties on the project scope and/or results of activities

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Superior qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills
• Understanding of the litigation process/EDRM
• Quantitative background in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, MIS, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with DBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres
• 2+ years of experience with Reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
• Familiarity with scripting languages like C#, Python, and R is a plus.
• Familiarity with Digital Forensics and Legal Solution platforms is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to graph and generate pivot tables.
• Superior written and oral communication skills
