Focused on the Personal Care market you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our personal care ingredients business at current accounts. Additionally, you will be charged with developing and executing a distribution strategy and identifying and developing strong relationships with contract manufacturers and small personal care brand owners. You will actively use our CRM (Salesforce.com) platform and work closely with marketing and technology to deeply understand customer needs and align those with Company technology.
In pursuit of the targets for growth, you will work with current customers and identify prospects aligned with the segmentation in place for Personal Care. You will prepare a Territory Management Plan to prioritize face-to-face meetings (virtual in the current Covid environment) with key contacts from which sustainable relationships and business opportunities are developed and maintained. You will identify and interact with our direct customers and at other key points of the value chain. From these interactions, you will discover unmet needs and work with a cross-functional Company team to develop solutions to delight the customer. Once Covid-related travel restrictions have been lifted, you will be traveling significantly (>50%) to meet and engage with existing and potential customers at all levels. Travel in North America and Latin America (mainly US, Brazil, and Mexico) and occasional to Europe is expected.
Reporting to the Americas Sales Manager, you will fulfill a key role in the commercial growth of the Personal Care Market. This position will be home-office based ideally close to a major international airport.
